About The Role The primary purpose of this role is to manage and enhance online journeys for Allianz Australia customers (direct to consumer as well as insurance brokers), developing and steering the Engagement and Commercial + Personal Injury platform/website roadmap for online touchpoints to meet customer and business needs. Be accountable for the ultimate success of your squad’s outcomes. Maintain the vision, roadmap, goals, plans, and expectations. Lead the development and implementation of a digital journey roadmap in collaboration with product, business, and delivery teams, to ensure alignment with strategic priorities and business outcomes. Develop and maintain a performance framework to enhance digital journey outcomes, driving higher customer and stakeholder engagement, improving Net Promoter Score (NPS), increasing sales of Gross Written Premium (GWP), optimizing cost ratios, and achieving service efficiencies. Lead a cross‑functional squad to implement a consistent and integrated digital sales and service strategy, optimising Allianz digital channels to meet revenue and cost targets. Collaborate with other members of the squad to elaborate epics, features and stories, defining acceptance criteria and definition of done. Continually assess digital journey performance to manage and prioritise changes, balancing stakeholder needs and business initiatives, and maintaining a dynamic backlog. Recommend optimisations for end‑to‑end digital customer journeys, fostering an Agile culture in the organisation. Influence others when coordinating and engaging with stakeholders and teams to achieve end‑to‑end outcomes. Lead larger projects, product and regulatory changes, and any activities that impact customer journeys and experiences. Effectively manage and support the squad to progress the work. Work collaboratively with delivery leads and the squad to deliver backlog and attend all relevant agile ceremonies. Communication and engagement with stakeholders outside of the squad. Work with digital specialists and other key stakeholders to improve digital sales and service experiences and ensure effective delivery for AAL. This is a 12 month fixed‑term contract. About You Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Information Technology, or similar. Demonstrated experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a large, regulated business. Extensive experience working with agile ways of working and familiarity with human‑centered design techniques. Experience in managing digital journeys and complex projects and roadmaps. Experience in online customer experience, usability trends, and information design. Experience delivering projects using Agile methodologies. Experience in design thinking and customer journey mapping. Proven ability to quickly comprehend and navigate relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact AAL. Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with Adobe or similar MarTech systems, software, databases, planning, reporting, and communication tools. Experience simplifying complex processes and issues, problem‑solving, and data‑driven decision‑making. Ability to communicate a product vision to key stakeholders and teams, developing it into a shaped backlog of key features, user stories, and goals for individual sprints. Proven analytical skills and evidence‑based decision‑making. Project delivery and knowledge of the software development cycle.
