Join to apply for the Ten Tops Team Member role at Bernardi Group 3 months ago Be among the first 25 applicants Join to apply for the Ten Tops Team Member role at Bernardi Group DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Adheres to all standard operating procedures and policies Responsible for all communications applicable to their assigned area Assists in merchandising procedures Responsible for maintaining assigned area Delivers exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers Receiving Deliveries and management of invoicing/paperwork Checking off stock to invoice Stocking Shelves and Displays Performs store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, cleaning, maintaining stock room Strong culture of safety at all times including the correct use of carton cutter, ladders & trolleys Brief DescriptionDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDuties May Include But Are Not Limited ToAdheres to all standard operating procedures and policies Responsible for cash handling procedures Responsible for all communications applicable to their assigned area Assists in merchandising procedures Responsible for maintaining assigned area Delivers exceptional customer service through personal contact with customers Receiving Deliveries and management of invoicing/paperwork Checking off stock to invoice Stocking Shelves and Displays Performs store maintenance including but not limited to taking out garbage, cleaning, maintaining stock room Strong culture of safety at all times including the correct use of carton cutter, ladders & trolleys This position is to be across all operational aspects of the Business. Additional responsibilities will be determined by the Store Manager, as dictated by store needsEssential Job FunctionsStand entire shift Frequently operate cash register Frequently move merchandise weighing up to 10kg and up to a height of 1.5-3m Frequently ascend/descend ladders in order to retrieve and put away stock Frequent use of stock trolleys, pallet jacks for the moving of stock Frequently position self to kneel, bend and stoop, including in stock room and on the sales floor Frequently communicate and exchange information with customers and staff on telephone and face-to-face in the store.
