Electrical Technician – NES Fircroft (Mining) NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join the maintenance team of a major mining and resources operation on a permanent basis, working an 8/6 FIFO roster. This site‑based role is ideal for a hands‑on industrial electrician with solid experience in HV switching and instrumentation. You will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of both fixed and mobile plant, supporting production and maintenance objectives across the site. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems for fixed and mobile equipment Conduct troubleshooting, fault‑finding, and diagnostic analysis to resolve plant reliability issues Carry out HV switching operations and ensure electrical systems meet operational and safety standards Support installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and plant availability Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records within SAP or a similar system About You Qualified Industrial Electrician with a valid Electrical Trade Certificate Demonstrated experience in heavy industrial or mining operations Competent in HV switching (training or authorisation preferred) Knowledge and practical experience with instrumentation systems Proficient in SAP or similar CMMS software High Risk Work tickets (Forklift, EWP >11m) desirable Strong safety awareness, teamwork, and communication skills What’s on Offer Permanent opportunity with a leading mining operator Work on an established operation entering an exciting phase of development Competitive remuneration and a supportive, safety‑focused team culture Accommodation, meals, and travel provided (travel in work time) #J-18808-Ljbffr
