Calibration & Electrical Performance Technician Jaysel Electrical & Instrumentation – Townsville QLD Jaysel Electrical & Instrumentation is expanding its Calibration & Performance Testing Services and is seeking expressions of interest from experienced and dedicated technicians to join our team. This permanent position offers stability, professional growth, and the opportunity to contribute to a respected electrical and instrumentation services provider. What We Offer Permanent full-time position Townsville-based role Company vehicle supplied (business use only) Responsibilities Calibration of various electrical test instruments (e.g., multi meters, insulation resistance testers, multifunction testers etc.) Inspection and testing of LV & HV equipment and PPE Inspection and testing of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (i.e. bucket trucks) Onsite calibration and testing at various mine sites and sugar mills (This will require approx. 4 weeks away work per year) Ensuring accurate calibration, documentation, and record keeping Preparation of calibration certificates and maintaining high documentation standards Use of calibration software and tools to maintain instrument functionality Raising calibration quotes and purchase order requests Maintaining compliance with current industry standards and internal requirements Upholding strong safety, quality, and compliance practices Opportunities for onsite work across mine sites & sugar mills What You Will Bring Strong ability to multitask and manage priorities Excellent organizational and communication skills A collaborative, team-focused attitude Strong computer literacy and confidence with digital systems Mandatory Qualifications QLD Electrical License Current LVR/CPR Current QLD Driver’s License Ability and willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening Desirable Qualifications & Experience Certificate III in Instrumentation or Certificate IV with relevant experience HV testing experience Previous experience in HV calibration and testing services Knowledge of industry requirements and standards related to testing and calibration #J-18808-Ljbffr
