About the Role Are you a skilled manufacturing professional with a high mechanical aptitude and experience in fast‑paced production environments? We are looking for an experienced line setter / machine setter with positions available for day, afternoon & night shift, ensuring seamless and efficient operation of our production line while maintaining our high standards for safety and quality. As a line setter / machine setter, you will be responsible for setting up, calibrating, and maintaining equipment, coordinating efficient production processes, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring product quality. This is a hands‑on role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) : Ensure all work complies with GMP, maintaining cleanliness, quality, and safety standards. Efficient Line Management : Coordinate tasks to keep production running smoothly, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime. Equipment Changeover : Complete precise changeovers of filling, capping, and labelling equipment within specified timeframes. Troubleshooting : Quickly resolve and adjust equipment issues to reduce wastage and maintain high‑quality output. Product Quality Monitoring : Inspect product quality during production, making necessary adjustments to maintain standards. Documentation : Use EJS (Electronic Job Sheets) and other systems to complete necessary documentation and reporting. Training and Compliance : Engage in ongoing training in SOPs, GMP, and OH&S. Key Skills High mechanical aptitude and experience with machinery Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem‑solving Advanced understanding of GMP and OH&S practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive and able to work effectively without supervision Proven experience operating machines in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments Experience and Requirements Industry Experience : Minimum 5 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Food, Packaging, Automotive, or other FMCG sectors is desirable. Technical Skills : Essential experience with setting up, adjusting for changeovers, and cleaning packaging machinery on a production line. Licenses : Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle. Forklift license advantageous. Citizenship: PR or NZ/Australian Citizenship required.
