About the role The Children’s Outreach Support Worker is a crucial part of the Bright Start Pilot Program, initially contracted for 12 months with the potential for extension. The primary aim of the program is to provide crisis‑focused support to children aged 0-17 years facing challenges while accompanying their families in crisis accommodation, typically in motels or hotels. These children often experience isolation, navigate complex situations, struggle with disengagement from education, and lack formal support services. In this role, the support worker will provide brief, task‑oriented outreach support to children residing in temporary accommodation. They will act as advocates, facilitating connections with essential services such as health, mental health, education, material aid, and recreation services to foster community links and ensure the best outcomes for the children. #J-18808-Ljbffr
