Full Time Nanny/ House Manager in Redfern Start Date: ASAPContract Term: Ongoing – Long TermPay: $45 per hour depending on experienceDays and Hours: Mon – Fri 40 hours per week. The Nanny must be flexible to work different hours throughout the week. A professional and caring family in Redfern are looking for a reliable Nanny / House Manager to care for their two sons aged 5yrs and 3yrs old and assist with housework, school pick-ups and activity drop-offs. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children in a structured yet relaxed environment. About the Role The nanny will be responsible for dropping off and collecting the children from school, taking them to after school activities, and providing a supportive, screen-free environment where they can engage in independent play. The role involves household cleaning, chores, meal prep/cooking and laundry. A Typical Afternoon Supervise children in the morning and afternoon Drop the children to school Collect children from school and drive home or to swimming lessons Help with meal preparation and cook meals House Cleaning, organising/tidying and laundry About You The family is looking for someone who is: Reliable, proactive, and supportive Comfortable allowing the children to play independently Happy to work in a screen-free household To speak Spanish (would be a bonus but not essential) Requirements 3+ years experience caring for children Driver’s license required (a car will be provided for work use) Childcare qualifications preferred but not essential Experience with cleaning, household tasks and meal prep Working With Children Check First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one) This is a wonderful opportunity to work with a loving and structured family who values independence and creativity in their children.
