We are seeking an experienced ICT professional to provide specialised support for our business applications, ensuring systems are running effectively to ensure end-user productivity maximisation. Reporting to the ICT & Systems Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for investigating, troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues, as well as liaising with vendors, developers and internal stakeholders to maintain and improve the organisation’s ICT application portfolio. Responsibilities Provide Level 2/3 support for core business applications (e.g., Odoo ERP, CRM, HR, Finance, O365, SharePoint). Investigate and resolve application-related incidents escalated from the ICT Helpdesk. Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas for improvement. Liaise with third‑party vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and apply patches or upgrades. Support system integrations and ensure data consistency between applications. Assist with application configuration, user access management, and permissions. Work with business units to understand requirements and implement system enhancements. Document troubleshooting steps, processes, and application‑specific user guides. Participate in testing, quality assurance, and deployment of new applications or upgrades. Support training initiatives by collaborating with the ICT Systems Trainer on new system rollouts or updates. Ensure compliance with ICT policies, data security, and governance standards. Qualifications Previous experience in application support, system administration, or a related ICT role. Strong understanding of business applications (ERP, CRM, HR, finance, or workflow systems). Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and cloud‑based platforms. Good knowledge of databases, SQL queries, and reporting tools. Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with non‑technical users and vendors. Ability to manage incidents, requests, and changes within ITIL or similar frameworks. National Police Clearance (valid within 6 months). Experience supporting Odoo, SAP, Dynamics 365, Oracle, or other ERP/CRM systems. Basic scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for automation and troubleshooting. Understanding of APIs and system integration concepts. ITIL Foundation certification or relevant IT qualifications. Exposure to project work, testing, and system implementation. Key Attributes Customer‑focused with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly. Detail‑oriented with a structured approach to troubleshooting. Adaptable and able to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment. Strong collaboration skills, working across IT and business teams.
