Our client seeks a suitably qualified and experienced Project Manager to join them on a permanent basis in Karratha. Karratha is a fantastic town with amazing fishing, camping and all-round great coastline. It is abundant in opportunities for families, boasting great schools and sporting activities. About the Client Our client is a highly regarded civil contracting business with a strong presence in Western Australia's north-west. Privately owned and locally operated, they are a preferred contractor to Main Roads WA, Development WA, local councils, and major mining companies. The company delivers a diverse range of civil infrastructure projects and prides itself on its commitment to quality, safety, and community development throughout the Pilbara region. About the Role An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on a residential basis in Karratha. Working Monday to Friday on local civil projects, you will lead land development, road construction, and earthworks projects from planning through to completion. This is a permanent role offering stability, excellent remuneration, and housing support. Key Responsibilities Manage and deliver civil infrastructure projects safely, on time, and within budget. Lead and coordinate site delivery teams and subcontractors. Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of construction works. Monitor project progress, budgets, and compliance requirements. Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication. Provide technical input and guidance across project stages. Prepare and present regular progress and cost reports. Ensure construction adheres to design, safety, and quality standards. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence. Support and mentor junior engineers and site staff. About you Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (minimum requirement). 6-7+ years' experience as a Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, or Project Manager. Proven success in delivering civil projects such as roadworks, land development, and bulk earthworks. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Experience managing projects valued between $10-20 million+. Stable career history with civil contractors in WA or similar markets. Current Australian C Class driver's licence. You must have full Australian work rights, there is no sponsorship on offer.
