The Opportunity We are seeking a passionate Senior Dental Assistant / Clinical Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays from 7.45am - 5.15pm. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Practice Manager to coordinate and manage the financial and operational aspects of the practice, with a strong focus on enhancing the patient experience and driving practice initiatives. You will exemplify our values and contribute to the growth and success of the practice. Key Responsibilities : Assist in the daily management of the practice to ensure exceptional patient experiences at every touchpoint. Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally. Create a professional and welcoming environment for patients. Maintain a clean and well-presented reception and front office area. Assist in the recruitment process and contribute to building a high-performing team. Facilitate the induction and onboarding of new employees, identifying training needs. Provide support, encouragement, and mentoring to team members. Act as a role model to your team members. Collaborate with the PM to drive practice growth, by assisting with local area marketing. Manage daily tasks such as recalls, confirmations, online bookings, and treatment follow-ups. Deliver exceptional patient care, with a focus on new and existing patients. Undertake practice administration activities and maintain high standards. Be flexible to work on reception or in surgery as needed to support practice operations. Participate in WH&S audits and implement recommended improvements within specified timelines. You Previous experience in dental or healthcare administration preferred. Strong organisational and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team. Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. Proficiency in office software and practice management systems.
