Dental Assistant & Receptionist - Phillip and Dickson ACT Dickson Park Dental Surgery (Dickson) and Dental Excellence (Phillip) are seeking a motivated, customer‑focused individual to serve as both dental assistant and receptionist. Our team is dedicated to providing a comfortable, relaxing environment for patients while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities of Dental Assistant Assist the dentist during patient procedures Take X‑rays and impressions Sterilize and prepare dental instruments Make patients feel comfortable and assist with their needs Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist Completion of a dental assisting program or relevant education is highly regarded (not required) Familiarity with dental equipment and software Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment A friendly and professional demeanor Responsibilities of Receptionist Answer and direct phone calls Schedule appointments and maintain patient schedules Greet patients and handle check‑ins and check‑outs Process payments and handle billing inquiries Maintain a clean, organized reception area Perform other administrative duties as directed by management Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment A friendly and professional demeanor We offer competitive salaries, benefits, and opportunities for growth within the company.
