The Team Leader, Park Strategic Projects provides very high-level policy advice and leads the delivery and implementation of strategic projects to resolve complex protected area management issues. The Team Leader supervises a senior team that delivers high profile commitments such as the proposed Flinders Ranges World Heritage listing and protected area related legislative reform.The role involves consultation and liaison with staff across government, traditional owners, special interest groups and the community, developing appropriate engagement strategies, and representing the Department in negotiations, stakeholder meetings and other forums as required.The Department for Environment and Water is committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
