Key responsibilities Oversee day-to-day site operations related to client variations and greenspace upgrade projects Supervise and coordinate team members and subcontractors to ensure all works are completed on time and to a high standard. Read and interpret landscape plans, variation documents, and work orders accurately. Set out and prepare worksites, ensuring materials, plants, and equipment are organised before starting tasks. Carry out and oversee landscaping works such as turf laying, planting, mulching, paving, retaining walls, edging, and irrigation adjustments. Maintain quality control throughout each stage of the job, checking finishes and ensuring compliance with company standards. Ensure all works meet safety, environmental, and legislative requirements on-site. Liaise with supervisors, project managers, and clients to confirm variation details and communicate progress. Resolve on-site issues quickly and efficiently to keep projects on schedule. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite at all times. Support and mentor apprentices, providing guidance and on-the-job training.
