We are looking for a skilled and motivated construction professional to join our team as a Pre-Construction Manager. In this vital position, you’ll oversee the planning and preparation phases of our projects, ensuring everything is set for successful execution. You’ll collaborate with team members to guarantee projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role focuses on small-scale residential projects and is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or those early in their careers. Only basic construction knowledge is required. Your Responsibilities Lead the pre-construction phase, including site assessments, feasibility studies, and design development. Work with clients to gather selections and develop finish schedules. Conduct research and analysis to identify potential project risks. Manage the bidding process for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing. Collaborate with the team to evaluate project proposals and make recommendations based on cost, feasibility, and market trends. Provide regular updates to senior management on project progress, budget forecasts, and potential challenges. Your Experience Familiarity with small-scale residential construction projects (such as bathrooms, kitchens, and laundries). Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, with a knack for building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders. Proficiency in project management software and the Microsoft Office Suite. Capability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions. Detail-oriented, with a strong focus on quality and accuracy.
