About the company Total Project NT is a head contractor based in Alice Springs, delivering complex commercial and government builds across remote and regional Australia. Founded by respected Central Australian builder Travis Mitchell, the business has rapidly grown from $9M to $25M turnover through trusted delivery, quality outcomes, and long‑standing local partnerships. IM Partners has been engaged to recruit a capable General Manager to lead operations, people, and performance as the company scales to the next level. About the role Reporting directly to the Director, you’ll oversee projects, people, and systems across NT and SA. You’ll drive operational performance, workforce development, and client relationships — ensuring strategy turns into execution. Your focus will include: Leading day‑to‑day operations across multiple regional sites Delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards Strengthening financial oversight and job margin performance Embedding WHS and compliance systems aligned to ISO 45001 Mentoring and developing high‑performing teams Representing the business professionally with clients, suppliers, and regulators About you You’re commercially minded and thrive in regional contexts where adaptability and resourcefulness are key. You lead with accountability and integrity, balance strategic direction with practical execution, and bring people along with you.
