About the Role As a Team Member, you will be responsible for working alongside a team to maintain and enhance green spaces across our various council‑controlled roadsides and open spaces within the Gold Coast. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard Complete service requests as required Adhere to safety protocols and procedures Benefits Monday to Friday work schedule with early start and early finish Competitive hourly rate Uniform and PPE supplied Ongoing safety training programs and resources available Frequent free team social events Career progression pathways Possibility of overtime in warmer months What are we looking for? Previous experience in zero turn mowing, brush cuttingand spraying Valid Manual Drivers Licence White Card ACDC highly regarded Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually Be punctual and reliable Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards Our Team & Culture We embrace and celebrate diversity, equity, and inclusion.
