Join a team that cares from the heart.**About the Role****As a Support Worker, you’ll help people stay safe and comfortable at home by:*** Helping with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming)* Providing respite care (giving carers a break)* Helping clients stay active and connected in their community* Following care plans to meet each person’s needs* Working as a team to provide the best support possible**We value and support our team. When you join us, you’ll enjoy:*** Salary packaging – Get up to $15,900 tax-free per year to increase your take-home pay* Retail discounts – Save money at 700+ stores* Extra pay on leave – 17.5% leave loading on annual leave* Career growth – Opportunities to move into Residential Care or Community Services**What You Need****Must-Haves:*** A caring nature – Passionate about helping people* Good communication skills – Able to chat and listen to clients and team members* Ability to work independently – Comfortable using technology in your role* Australian working rights* A valid driver’s licence* Access to a reliable, insured car* A Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to get one)**Nice-to-Have (but not required):*** Certificate in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services (We provide training if you don’t have one)* Experience in aged care or disability support* First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to get one)***It is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role.
