Project Coordination Officer Permanent - Part-time Role, 21 hours per week at Northern Beaches Council. Division: Environment & Open Space Business Unit: Waste Management & Cleansing Salary Range: $92,604.95 to $107,622.32 (on a pro-rata basis) per annum + super (subject to skills and experience) Who We Are Stretching from Palm Beach to Manly, the Northern Beaches boasts more than half of all the beaches in Sydney and a population of more than 270,000. Division The Environment & Open Space Division is responsible for a range of functions which support the whole of Council to deliver high‑quality services to our Northern Beaches bush land, rural and coastal community. The Division comprises the following business units: Environment & Climate, Waste Management & Cleansing and Parks & Open Space. Business Unit The Waste Management & Cleansing Business Unit provides a range of services relating to domestic waste, public litter bins and cleansing public places, and manages waste and cleansing services provided by Kimbriki Environmental Enterprises and other contractors. It provides accurate and timely advice and uses best‑practice methods and procedures while developing new and innovative solutions. The Services it delivers include: Cleansing Services Domestic Waste Management and Recycling Public litterbin collection and recycling Education on waste services and waste avoidance Working With Us Professional development and training opportunities Genuine work‑life balance and flexible working arrangements High level of technological innovation and systems Our Opportunity Supporting project owners in the planning and delivery of exciting, complex and potentially high‑profile projects, including defining and managing project scope, coordinating feasibility analysis and providing data insights to support decision‑making. Co‑ordinating internal stakeholders across all levels of Council and external parties to continuously improve and enhance operations and service delivery. Supporting the implementation of new processes, systems, policies and procedures to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
