SAP ERP Cloud Finance Consultant (S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition) We’re looking for an SAP ERP Cloud Finance Consultant to take ownership of ERP project financial consulting across our contracts. You will lead the Finance workstream for SAP S/4HANA Cloud and hybrid ERP transformations, shaping solution design, driving fit‑to‑standard outcomes, and ensuring high-quality delivery from blueprint through go‑live and hyper‑care. This is a client‑facing role requiring strong functional expertise, confident stakeholder engagement, and hands‑on configuration capability in SAP Cloud Finance. You’ll work closely with project managers, solution architects, and other module leads to deliver integrated, scalable finance solutions for our customers. Key Responsibilities Own the end‑to‑end Finance workstream on SAP ERP Cloud projects (public cloud and hybrid S/4HANA landscapes). Lead fit‑to‑standard workshops, requirements discovery, and process mapping with finance stakeholders. Design and document future‑state finance processes aligned to SAP best practice and client priorities. Configure and test SAP Cloud Finance functionality including integration points with logistics and HR streams. Prepare functional specs for any required extensions, integrations, or reporting, coordinating with technical teams. Drive defect triage, resolution, and regression testing through build, UAT, and cut‑over. Support data migration activities: mapping, validation, reconciliation, and sign‑off. Lead or support cut‑over planning, go‑live execution, and hyper‑care stabilization. Client Engagement & Advisory Act as the Finance subject‑matter expert and trusted advisor to client CFO/Finance teams. Translate business needs into SAP‑enabled solutions with clear value articulation. Support change management through training, documentation, and end‑user readiness activities. Provide estimates, delivery plans, and risk assessments for Finance scope within proposals and active contracts. Quality & Practice Growth Maintain high standards of delivery documentation and governance. Contribute reusable assets, accelerators, and templates to the Finance practice. Mentor junior consultants and support internal capability uplift. Stay current with SAP S/4HANA Cloud finance roadmap and innovations. Core SAP Functional Scope Experience across most of the following areas is expected: General Ledger (GL), Universal Journal, Ledger principles Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) Asset Accounting (AA) Bank Account Management & Cash Operations Financial Closing, Intercompany / Group Reporting (where relevant) Tax configuration and compliance requirements Integration with SD/MM for Order‑to‑Cash and Procure‑to‑Pay Reporting: Fiori apps, embedded analytics, SAC exposure Required Experience & Qualifications 5+ years SAP Finance consulting experience, including at least 1 S/4HANA Cloud implementations. Proven delivery track record across at least two full lifecycle ERP Finance projects. Hands‑on configuration capability in SAP S/4HANA Finance with strong troubleshooting skills. Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management (Finance leadership to end users). Ability to drive fit‑to‑standard thinking and manage scope pragmatically. Experience with Agile / Activate delivery methods. SAP certification(s) in S/4HANA Finance or related areas strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or equivalent experience. Desirable / Nice‑to‑Have Experience in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance deployments. Exposure to Central Finance, Group Reporting, Treasury, or SAC planning. Background in industry verticals relevant to our clients (utilities, manufacturing, consumer goods, public sector, etc.). Knowledge of integration patterns (BTP, CPI, APIs) and extension governance. CA/CPA qualification or strong accounting fundamentals. What Success Looks Like (KPIs / Outcomes) Finance scope delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to SAP best practice. High client satisfaction scores for Finance workstream leadership and advisory. Strong quality metrics: low defect leakage, clean UAT exit, stable go‑live. Effective cross‑module integration with minimal rework. Consistent contribution to practice assets and internal mentoring.
