Please note : To be considered for this opportunity, you must have at least 2 years of manager experience, ideally in a Community Pharmacy but open to other forms of retail or operations management experience. The Role : Representing our valued network partners, you will play a pivotal leadership and operational role. You’ll bring their vision to life across multiple pharmacies by delivering ongoing training and development, fostering team collaboration, driving brand initiatives, and harnessing our advanced technology and services. With a strong customer focus and a data-driven mindset, you’ll work closely with in-store managers and senior leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and implement processes that enhance performance and meet key metrics. You Won’t Be Doing It Alone You will be part of the NSW pharmacy support team, and your priority focus is on all matters Front of Shop, like retail execution. You will work alongside a Group Pharmacy Manager, working closely on responsibilities including consulting, projects, people management, strategy, financial reporting and budgeting, priority planning, and compliance. Your stores will be along the Eurobodalla Coast in NSW, but you will get the opportunity to provide support to other stores remotely and through scheduled travel around Australia. Furthermore, you’ll be part of a national team full of seasoned and knowledgeable leaders, each supporting a group of pharmacies on behalf of their network partners. This highly skilled and engaged team meets regularly both in person and online to share insights, support one another, and leverage each other’s expertise. This team is backed by our dedicated Pharmacy Support Services team, including specialists in Centralised Ordering, QCCP compliance, People and Culture, Accounts, and a passionate General Manager – all committed to helping you succeed in your role. Key Responsibilities And Leadership As a Group Retail Leader, your responsibilities will include: Data-Driven Decisions: Support the full strategic lifecycle to create and translate strategic plans into actionable outcomes, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and retail compliance planning conversations. Supporting Store Strategy: You will support and mentor the managers’ implementation of employee development plans, retail executions including planograms and catalogues, and store- and region-specific priority focuses. Team Leadership and Culture Building: Cultivate a positive, inclusive team environment. Motivate teams to perform at their best, celebrate achievements, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement. Effective Communication and Coaching: Conduct one-on-one meetings with store leadership to help them meet targets and address people-related challenges. For complex HR matters, you’ll be supported by a dedicated People and Culture team. Tailored Leadership Be attuned to the needs of your teams and leaders, championing consistency, clear communication, and strong engagement. We’ll support your development by providing insights from a personality profiling tool Clarity4D to discover your personality and communication preferences.
