Project Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Melbourne, Perth or Brisbane team for a self-sufficient and motivated Project Manager. You will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplined engineering team to develop designs on various projects within the resource sector. Further to project responsibilities, this role poses a real opportunity for the right candidate to be involved in growth of EMtek from an operational and business development perspective. Key Responsibilities: Management and ownership of multi-discipline design projects. Scoping and proposal development. Manage all aspects of project controls including progress tracking, planning and scheduling. Facilitate and participate in design reviews. Support and collaborate with highly skilled designers and engineers to develop designs for a wide range of plant elements. Prepare technical engineering documents as part of overall project engineering deliverables. Visits to client sites as required. Building positive relationships with clients. Represent EMtek throughout the complete project lifecycle, ensuring client satisfaction. Maintain a safety focus through all aspects of work. About you The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with a passion for discovery and a strong commitment to workplace wellbeing and safety. Working within a small, close-knit team, they will rely on strong communication and relationship-building skills to foster positive connections both internally and with clients. Skills and experience Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering. 7+ years of multidiscipline Project experience. Exposure to Materials handling related design projects, in both the Greenfields and Brownfields space. Detailed knowledge of materials handling industry. Experience across a range of commodities, including gold, copper, lithium and iron ore, is favourable Excellent organisational, communication, teamwork and time management skills. Technical aptitude, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to think outside the box.
