Smallgoods & Sausage Maker or Apprentice Country Cooked is an Australian owned and operated manufacturer of premium quality cooked protein. We are looking for a fulltime Smallgoods Maker - Butcher or potentially apprenticeship. The successful candidate will be trained in sausage making, mixing & filling smallgoods, record keeping & knife skills for immediate start to join our team. Responsibilities Operating mixers and mincers with bin lift Operating bowl cutter with bin lift Operating the latest state of the art Handtmann automatic linking sausage filler with bin lift Maintaining full HACCP records, and be compliant with food safety standards Crumbing schnitzels, hamburgers, skewers and other products Operating packaging machinery, labelling and boxing Continue to improve quality and consistency as well as working within target price ranges. Qualifications & Skills Knowledge on using natural and collagen casing General smallgoods knowledge to trial and develop a range of smallgoods Good knife skills for trimming and preparing meat products for manufacturing Able to train others Team player Training and development will be available for successful candidates.
