Your Opportunity This is a leadership role where you will drive a coordinated approach to capital planning and proposal development in the water sector. You’ll work closely with agencies and government-owned corporations to ensure proposals align with Queensland's infrastructure strategy and meet best-practice standards. Your work will influence major investment decisions and contribute to sustainable water infrastructure outcomes. Role We design roles around individual and collective strengths. Your Responsibilities – In This Role, You Will Engage with agencies early in the proposal development process to provide strategic advice and ensure alignment with government priorities. Lead the provision of advice and assurance activities for high-risk and priority proposals. Prepare high-quality strategic advice, reports, and submissions for senior executives and government. Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement in infrastructure frameworks and agency capability. Facilitate communities of practice and share best-practice approaches to water infrastructure planning. Represent the department at meetings, forums, and technical briefings, promoting robust planning and assessment. Support a positive and inclusive team culture, helping team members achieve organisational priorities and professional goals. Why Join Us?
