About the Role EDGE Consulting Engineersis currently looking for a prospective graduate/junior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Structural Engineering team on a full-time basis in our Cairns office. EDGE Engineers can expect mentorship and guidance as well as direct supervision fromEDGESenior Structural Engineers. We envision that the ideal fit for this role would be someone who’s self-motivated, a team player, curious, and eager to learn. Responsibilities Assisting in the delivery of a variety of projects, including multi-storey residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Conducting structural analysis and design for a wide range of projects using steel, concrete, and timber. Producing structural mark-ups for use of the internal drafting team. Prepare calculations, drawings, and technical documentation. Use of structural software such as SpaceGass, RAM, RAPT, and Structural Toolkit. Assist in the construction phase of projects including undertaking site inspections and shop drawing reviews. About You 1-3 years of Structural Engineering experience advantageous but not essential. Ability to interpret and apply relevant Australian Standards. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with clients and team members. Proficiency with Bluebeam Revu advantageous. Hold a current drivers licence for attending site inspections/meetings. #J-18808-Ljbffr
