Senior Analyst, Research Location: Melbourne, Australia. Company: Aurora Energy Research. We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Research to develop quantitative analyses and provide insights to help clients navigate the energy transition. The role involves identifying issues, hypothesis development, data analysis, and synthesis of recommendations. Key Responsibilities Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses that enhance client decision‑making. Collaborate with the modelling team to structure economic problems into quantifiable analyses and interpret model results. Contribute to product development by identifying new opportunities and expanding capabilities. Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements. Communicate findings and recommendations to clients. Qualifications First‑class or high second‑class degree in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Finance) with a strong interest in energy markets and policy developments. Strong skills in collecting, analysing and interpreting complex quantitative data. Evidence of strong performance in team‑oriented environments.
