About The Role As our Analytics Product Owner, you’ll play a key role in shaping how data powers decision‑making across the business. Reporting to the Head of Analytics Engagement and Enablement, you’ll own and evolve data and analytics products that deliver trusted, governed and scalable insights across Retail, Supply Chain, Commercial/Marketing, Finance and Customer/Health domains. Working with Engineering, Data Science, and Data Governance teams, this role translates strategy into a prioritised roadmap and measurable outcomes. The position drives adoption of analytics solutions, enables self‑service capabilities, and ensures compliance with privacy and regulatory standards through robust data definitions, lineage, quality controls, and secure access management. Role Responsibilities Assist in identifying, developing and embedding data and insights capabilities across the business functions Partner with internal and external stakeholders to assist in the design of D&A Products and Solutions Define and deliver the product vision, roadmap, and prioritised backlog through clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and dual‑track discovery. Assist in raising Data literacy across the business ensuring our data assets are leveraged for decision‑making. Uplift data literacy and governed self service; plan training and communications; drive measurable usage of Alation and Power BI. Coordinate change, UAT and go live support for new Data & Analytics products, including training, comms and BAU handover. Work closely with Sales/Retail, Logistics/Supply Chain, Finance, IT and Commercial to ensure benefits are delivered. Define product value hypotheses and KPIs; track benefits (e.g., time saved, margin uplift, risk reduction) with domain stakeholders. About You Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Business, Data, Analytics, or other related discipline. Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Power BI; SQL proficiency Product ownership in data/analytics: backlog management, user stories, acceptance criteria including governance and data quality facets. Practical experience delivering on Snowflake, dbt and Power BI, understanding of conformed modelling and semantic layers Ability to understand and analyse complex processes, identify risks and efficiencies, to recommend better business outcomes Ability to convert high‑level requirements into detailed stories and tasks for engineering team members Ability to analyse critical business data to create actionable insights to support business in data‑driven decision making Ability to confidently report on progress, key issues, blockers and success to leadership Experience in utilising SQL and/or Power BI for Business Reporting or generating insights SAP functional experience Experience in working in the healthcare or logistics industries CI/CD and Git flow; vendor/SoW experience; MDM/ingestion frameworks (e.g., Fivetran) Observability in data pipelines and basic prompt design for analytics/LLM use.
