The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) is Australia's most awarded 3D animation, game development and visual effects educator with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Online. AIE is a not-for-profit organisation with a commitment to delivering high quality, specialist vocational and higher education. AIE is looking for a creative and digitally savvy communicator who understands how to connect with Gen Z and emerging talent in the interactive entertainment space. You’ll have a passion for storytelling, a strong grasp of visual trends, and the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging content. Whether it’s showcasing student projects on TikTok, promoting open days on Instagram, or sharing alumni success stories on LinkedIn, you’ll know how to tailor content to each platform and audience. Experience in education, gaming, animation, or youth-focused industries will be highly regarded. Key Responsibilities: Creating and scheduling engaging content across major platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, Discord, and X (formerly Twitter) Promoting AIE’s nationally accredited courses, student work, events, and alumni success stories Collaborating with trainers, students, and industry partners to source and develop content Managing community engagement through comments, messages, and live event coverage Supporting paid advertising campaigns to boost enrolments and brand awareness Monitoring analytics and preparing monthly performance reports Ensuring all content complies with RTO marketing standards and ASQA guidelines Assisting with digital communications and promotional materials for open days and showcases Essential Skills and Knowledge: Strong communication and visual storytelling skills Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively as part of a small creative team Initiative and adaptability to learn new platforms and tools Understanding of youth audiences and trends in gaming, animation, and VFX Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Meta Business Suite, and basic video editing tools Commitment to brand consistency and compliance in digital communications Capability to engage with students from diverse backgrounds in a professional and supportive manner Experience in similar roles, ideally within the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector or creative industries Familiarity with the VET Quality Framework, CRICOS, and ASQA marketing guidelines Relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field Interest in games, animation, film and/or visual effects Please note: This is a full-time position with a 5-month probation period Salary is negotiable depending on experience Applicants must be able to apply for, or currently hold, a current Police Check and Working with Children Check To apply for this position, please provide a resume and cover letter #J-18808-Ljbffr
