Content & Social Media Specialist

$80,000 per year + super + leave loading The Content & Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating, publishing, and managing content on social media for all Meriton Suites social pages. The focus is to continue to build on the social media marketing deliverables with the goal of creating brand awareness as well as driving increased customer engagement and growth. You will be located at our head office on Kent St, in the heart of Sydney CBD, reporting into the Head of Marketing. This position is fully on-site, office-based. Please note, there are no work-from-home or hybrid options available. Responsibilities Create and manage the brand’s (and affiliated sub brands) content planning of all social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok Create digital content to use across social platforms using tools such as CapCut for video Suggest and implement social media partnership ideas that increase brand awareness such as giveaways, consumer promotions, and other forms of collaborations Work with external agencies to execute all social media advertising campaigns including planning, scheduling, and posting Provide monthly social media analytics reports, including performance insights from posts, influencer collaborations, and brand growth Plan and execute social-first campaigns that amplify main marketing initiatives such as launches, brand milestones and promotional events Grow community following by managing community engagement across all social channels and responding in a timely manner Work closely with the marketing assistant to co-ordinate and plan brand related photo shoots and activations Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager to plan and execute creative concepts to support overarching marketing campaigns Manage influence, ambassador and UGC collaborations including briefing, strategy, and relationship management About you Minimum of 2 years’ experience growing brands on social Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Proficiency in all technical based marketing requirements Project/campaign management experience including proven ability to deliver on time Ability to juggle multiple projects at once, be agile and move quickly to deliver on trends Experience with Facebook Ads Manager/Business Manager Photography and video editing skills are highly preferred Why Meriton Suites?
