Who are we looking for? We’re seeking skilled and proactive Mechanical Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (Defence) with experience in defence aviation. If you’re collaborative, solution-focused, and passionate about engineering, this role is for you. Your Role Key Responsibilities Include Design, test, and maintain mechanical components and systems for defence applications. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards. Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring optimal performance and system reliability. Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement solutions. Prepare and maintain documentation, reports, and technical drawings. The Essential Requirements Cert IV or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering. 3+ years’ experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in defence aviation sector. Ability to work a day shift with flexibility for occasional afternoon shifts. Strong attention to detail, safety focus, and commitment to quality workmanship. Currently holds Baseline security clearance or ability to obtain. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Important Due to Defence security clearance requirements, only Australian citizens are eligible for these roles.
