As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you'll be hands‑on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‑finding on aircraft systems. You will : Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams Ensuring QA procedures, aircraft maintenance / modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well‑being of all personnel What you will bring to BDA As an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will have : Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical, Avionics or Structures) Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements Hold a current driver’s licence Desirable Previous experience working with Military aircraft Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence This role may require travel and periods working away from home.
