Our fully equipped aircraft maintenance facility is located at the Toowoomba City Aerodrome, Wilsonton. We are looking for a LAME with a B1.1/B1.2 licence and PT6 category with general aviation (GA) experience to join our team in Toowoomba in the Chief Engineer role. This is a full time position operating Monday-Friday and is a great opportunity to join our close knit team. Approved Aircraft Maintenance maintains upwards of 80 aircraft ranging from Beechcraft B250 to Cessna 150. In this role you will liaise with and work closely with the director, administration staff, store person and maintenance controller. As part of the Chief Engineer role you will also manage the engineering staff’s day-to-day tasks and weekly workflow. The successful candidate must be a reliable and highly motivated individual who would also have the following attributes: PT6 engine / B200 experience beneficial The ability to work in a safe manner Takes pride in their quality work Focus on regulatory compliance Proficient understanding of GA aircraft and troubleshooting skills Employment is dependent on the completion of a negative drug and alcohol screen and ability to obtain an ASIC. A remuneration package will be negotiated dependent on experience.
