We believe that the strength and quality of our relationships will always be central to our success and are deeply connected to our purpose: Unlock potential, create tomorrow.**The Opportunity**Dexus is seeking a visionary Head of Research to lead our market insights function, shaping the strategic direction of investment decisions and unlocking growth opportunities across the group.This senior leadership role is pivotal in translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies - positioning research as a key driver of competitive advantage for our investors and capital partners.Combining analytical depth with external thought leadership, the role champions innovation in research methodologies and ensures insights directly fuel alpha generation and client engagement.Key responsibilities include:* Shape and execute a forward-looking research strategy aligned to Dexus’s investment priorities and portfolio themes.* Deliver and communicate Dexus’s “house view” on markets through quarterly outlooks that guide portfolio positioning and client engagement.* Build a thematic research framework that identifies long-term investment trends alongside traditional sector insights.* Embed formal processes to translate macroeconomic insights into actionable portfolio strategies, including scenario modelling and allocation recommendations.* Develop high-impact research products tailored for different audiences—from premium insights to thought leadership and marketing content.* Support capital raising efforts by showcasing Dexus’s differentiated research capabilities in investor and partner conversations.* Cultivate strong relationships with institutional consultants, acting as a trusted research ambassador for the firm.* Represent Dexus at industry events, conferences, and in media as a recognised thought leader in investment research.* Lead, mentor and inspire the research team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on excellence and innovation.* Set clear goals and performance standards that align with Dexus’s strategic objectives.* Promote collaboration across research, asset management and fund management teams to ensure insights are embedded across the business.**About You**You’re a strategic thinker with deep expertise in investment research and a passion for turning insights into impact. You bring:* A degree in finance, economics or a related field, complemented by an MBA, CFA or equivalent advanced qualification.* 15+ years of experience in investment research, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.* A proven ability to generate alpha through research-driven recommendations, with clear attribution.* Strong knowledge of real asset markets, macroeconomic trends and investment strategies.* Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders and investors.* Demonstrated leadership capability, with a track record of inspiring teams and driving strategic outcomes.The Dexus culture and spirit is what differentiates us.
