Planning & Project Coordinator

The Planning & Project Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the scheduling, coordination, and execution of projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with company goals and customer goals. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, communication proficiency, and the ability to collaborate across departments and with site supervisors. Main Tasks: Responsibilities: Develop and maintain production schedules. Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed. Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams. Analyse production data to identify areas for improvement. Strategic: Meeting Customer Demand: Accurately forecasting demand and aligning production schedules to meet customer orders on time. Collaboration and Communication: Facilitating effective communication and collaboration between different departments to ensure alignment and smooth operations. Project Planning and Scheduling Develop and maintain project timelines and schedules. Coordinate with stakeholders to identify project milestones and deadlines. Ensure resources, materials, and personnel are effectively allocated. Coordination and Communication Serve as the primary point of contact between teams, clients, and vendors. Monitor and report on project progress to stakeholders and management. Proactively resolve scheduling conflicts and adjust plans as needed. Execution and Oversight Track project milestones to ensure tasks are completed on schedule. Identify and mitigate potential risks or bottlenecks. Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies. Documentation and Reporting Prepare and distribute project documentation, such as reports, schedules, and updates. Maintain accurate records of project activities, decisions, and changes. Analyze and present data on project performance metrics. Team Collaboration Work closely with production, installation, and operations teams to align efforts. Support cross-functional collaboration to improve workflows and outcomes. Provide training and guidance to team members on project tools and protocols. Required Qualities: Works effectively and collaboratively with Sales, Measures, Design, Planning, Production, Installation and Polishing to support successful completion and delivery of job orders and projects. Manages and monitors projects ensuring schedules, scope and costs are delivered on time and within budget. Support and encourage Genneral Staircase's Vision, Mission, Values Statement. Strategic thinker. Qualifications: Proven experience in project planning or coordination roles. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana). Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Experience: Compliance and Quality Problem Solving Cross-Functional Collaboration Data Analysis Project Management Industry Experience Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of planning/coordination experience in a similar role.
