Advice Governance Senior Specialist (12 month contract) Join to apply for the Advice Governance Senior Specialist (12 month contract) role at AMP If you live in Australia or New Zealand, you've likely heard of AMP. Purpose of the role The role supports governance and oversight of advice fees deducted from superannuation and retirement products, ensuring obligations and policies are met across the operations of the funds. It supports the ongoing management of the Trustee’s advice file review program, internal reporting and insights, maintaining key frameworks and processes. you'll make an impact Prepare senior management committee meetings, board papers and reports. Support sampling activities including selection file requests, follow‑ups, reviews, reports and calibration. Manage workflows and record keeping for file requests. Maintain policies and procedures documents. Execute annual AFSL attestation processes. Manage the Advice Fee Exceptions Committee (AFEC) and licensee/operations forums, documenting minutes, procedures and governance in line with terms of reference. Support adhoc requests to ensure robust governance of advice fee deductions. Provide input to trustee reporting and work cross‑functionally to improve key processes or controls. Assist with regulatory updates as required. What you will bring to the team 5+ years of relevant professional experience in financial services compliance or advice supervision, focusing on financial advisers within wealth management (product, advice, compliance, distribution, operations). Experience conducting investigations and advice file reviews (SOAs, ROAs) or as a financial adviser. Experience writing board papers, packs, agendas and minutes. Strong attention to detail, focus on gathering and collating information and evidence, and organised record keeping. Knowledge of legislation and regulation for Registered Superannuation Entities. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Relevant qualifications in financial planning or related discipline.
