Your expertise will directly contribute to empowering individuals to heal from the psychological effects of their service, rebuild their lives, and reintegrate into their communities.St John of God Health Care is launching an innovative Mental Health Satellite Site, designed to bring vital trauma recovery services closer to veterans and first responders in their local communities.This is a rare opportunity to be an integral part of a groundbreaking initiative. You'll join a dedicated, collaborative team in a purpose-built community setting, working within a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed model of care.**The Position*** Provides individualised and group clinical care based on professional training reflecting current ethical clinical practice as required.* Provides comprehensive assessment and care planning monitoring client progress adjusting treatment accordingly.* Evaluates clinical outcomes and participates in research activities as required.* Liaise with all staff to promote effective communication including verbal and written feedback to referring Doctor.* Familiar and complies with legal, ethical responsibilities to patients, visitors and staff.* Maintains confidentiality and an appropriate professional relationship with staff and patients.* Participates regularly in clinical supervision and continues ongoing professional development through education.Successful applicants must be registered as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA) and have experience working with groups and individuals presenting with a myriad of concerns.Previous experience working with **emergency services** will be highly regarded.Above all, patient care will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.**We can offer you*** Grade 2 salary: **$79,551 to 118,246 plus 12% Superannuation*** Grade 3 salary: **$118,761 to $139,754 plus 12% Superannuation*** Permanent full-time, working 38 hours per week* **Salary packaging up to** **$18,550** on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as: + Novated leasing + work related expenses + self-education and + additional superannuation* A healthy work-life balance through flexible work options, additional purchased leave & well-being programs* Employee discount on St John of God Hospital & Medical Services and Private Health InsuranceFor all enquiries contact Paul Templeton, Service Integration Manager on .**If suitable candidates are identified advertisement may close prior to listed date***St John of God Health Care embraces diversity and strongly encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and people with disabilities.
