Responsibilities As a Staff Software Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading the technical vision and architecture for a major Contact Centre transformation across the Group. This high‑impact opportunity involves designing and delivering cloud‑native, scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions on AWS, leveraging full‑stack expertise in React or Next.js and .NET Core. You will be a strategic thinker guiding engineering teams and influencing cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver enterprise‑grade platforms. Lead as a technical subject‑matter expert, mentoring engineers and sharing knowledge through workshops, guilds, and collaborative forums. Design and implement innovative, scalable solutions as part of a cross‑functional squad, using GraphQL, modern data access layers, and cloud‑native services on AWS. Own the full lifecycle of building, securing, testing, and running applications with a DevSecOps mindset, including CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure pipelines, logging, and monitoring. Leverage AI‑assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Figma AI, and others to accelerate delivery and improve code quality. Collaborate closely with stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions that deliver real value, while continuously driving process improvements and innovation. Think outside the box, challenge the status quo, and bring a creative mindset to solving complex problems – experience in the banking/contact‑centre technology domain is a plus. Tech Skills Full Stack Development: React.js, Next.js, .NET Core, C#, microservice and API design (GraphQL & REST). Cloud & DevOps: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins). Database & API Design: PostgreSQL, Oracle, modern data access patterns. Monitoring & Observability: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, AWS CloudWatch. AI & GenAI Tools: GitHub Copilot, Cline, Roocode, AWS Bedrock, LLMs, machine‑learning concepts. Secure Engineering & DevSecOps: security principles, DevSecOps, SRE practices. Agile Delivery & Testing: TDD/BDD, automated testing, service virtualization, cloud‑native application development. Contact Centre technologies: Microsoft Dynamics, Genesys, LivePerson or similar platforms – highly regarded.
