The State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) is looking for a Media Advisor to join our team The Opportunity Media Advisor, SIRA Media and External Communications team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in our State Insurance Regulatory Authority (SIRA) who regulates three statutory insurance schemes in NSW. This role sits in the Media and External Communications team within the Customer, Data and Delivery division of SIRA. Your responsibilities will include As Media Advisor, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop media collateral, including proactive and reactive media releases, newsletter articles and social media posts and other information as required. You will be part of an exciting team that plans and delivers SIRA’s external communications to a range of audiences. About you Able to demonstrate high-level skills and experience in writing media releases, media enquiry responses, articles, promotional material and the ability to work under pressure. A strong communicator, and able to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication, organisational and interpersonal skills. Experienced in advising on media issues and working with the media. Able to build strong and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Confident and proactive in escalating risks and issues. A strong team player.
