EL2 Director, Business Transformation, Strategic Design and Analysis AUSTRAC | Sydney, New South Wales, Australia Base pay range: A$144,000 / yr – A$170,000 / yr About the Opportunity AUSTRAC, Australia's financial intelligence agency, is evolving to strengthen its fight against money laundering and terrorism financing. We are seeking visionary Directors to be part of our transformation journey, shaping how we deliver services, manage change and respond to an evolving financial crime landscape. As Director you will lead digital innovation, uplift organisational capability, and align with AUSTRAC’s strategic priorities. You will help shape AUSTRAC's long‑term vision through the delivery, enhancement, and support of critical business applications. Key Responsibilities Lead digital innovation and drive enterprise-level transformation initiatives. Build strong relationships, influence outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver data‑driven insights supporting transformation and change. Design and deliver innovative solutions that align with strategic business outcomes. Support the development and implementation of effective business applications. Qualifications Extensive experience leading enterprise service design and business transformation. Proven ability to manage teams focused on data‑driven analysis and deliver continuous improvement. Strong strategic thinking with a people‑focused leadership style. Experience in digital transformation within a large, complex organization is desirable.
