Overview Front of House Manager at our Caulfield North store. The Caulfield North store is a busy retail site connected to our main bakery production. We offer sourdough loaves, pastries, sandwiches & sourdough pizzas. Our partnership with Market Lane proudly offers some of the best coffee in Melbourne. This is a daytime-only role with no nights. About Us Baker Bleu started as a small bakery in 2016, creating ethical and delicious sourdough bread for Melbourne to enjoy. In the last 8 years, Baker Bleu has seen significant growth — with 4 (soon to be 5) locations across 2 states. We are proud to bring back the joys of real bread using the ancient techniques of long fermentation sourdough. We produce a diverse range of sourdough breads, as well as bagels, pastries, sourdough pizza, sandwiches and more. Responsibilities Lead and inspire the front of house retail team; engage with team members and customers on the floor. Oversee front-of-house operations and contribute to the smooth running of daily service. Manage ordering and stock control to ensure product availability and quality. Collaborate with bakery production and the Market Lane coffee partner to deliver a positive customer experience. Maintain a hands-on leadership style, especially on the floor, and manage multiple priorities effectively. Support staff training and development and contribute to a collaborative team environment. About You Experience as a Retail or Hospitality Supervisor or Manager with strong leadership skills to inspire and lead a retail team. Hands-on management style; you thrive on being on the ground, engaging with team members and customers alike. Proven experience with ordering and stock control. Results-driven, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Experience with coffee is preferred. A genuine "foodie" with passion for quality products and guest experience.
