Overview The School of Engineering at Edith Cowan University (ECU) was established in 1992. It has been one of the fastest growing engineering schools in the nation with a strong track record of success in developing and delivering quality undergraduate and postgraduate engineering programs that have strong alignment with industry and promote community and environmental sustainability. It offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in chemical, civil, civil and environmental, mechanical, mechatronics, electrical power, electrical and renewable energy, electronics and communications, instrumentation control and automation, computer systems, petroleum, and maritime engineering. Engineering at ECU was rated as above world standard in the 2018 Excellence in Research for Australia evaluation by the Australia Research Council, and the School provides a supportive and collegial work environment with outstanding teaching and research facilities. Responsibilities and Expectations The successful applicant will deliver high‑quality undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, supervise postgraduate students, and conduct world‑class research in electrical power systems. They will engage in industry collaboration, participate in academic governance, and contribute to university activities that promote research, teaching and community engagement. Qualifications Applicants should possess a PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field, a strong record of scholarly publications, demonstrated teaching excellence, and experience in electrical power systems research. Experience with grant acquisition and industry collaboration is an advantage.
