Energy Power Systems Australia – Mulgrave VIC Energy Power Systems Australia (EPSA) is the authorised supplier of Cat® power systems in Australia, PNG, and the Solomon Islands. As a leading provider of sustainable energy solutions, EPSA provides new and used engines, generators, and hybrid energy systems for a broad range of industries. We also specialise in rental solutions for power generators, compressors, and temperature control systems. We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Lead to support Project Delivery Team in the design, installation, programming and commissioning of electrical and Control Systems for Caterpillar engines, BESS, hybrid systems and ancillary equipment. This role is opened to candidates based in Mulgrave (VIC), Perth (WA) or Brisbane (QLD) Key Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical control systems for power generation projects. Oversee commissioning, installation, and testing of power generation control systems. Provide technical leadership in the integration of control systems with generators, switchgear, and associated equipment. Diagnose and resolve complex control system issues in collaboration with field teams. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Drive continuous improvement in system performance and reliability. Qualifications and Experience Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is essential Extensive experience in power generation, with a focus on electrical control systems. Proficiency in designing and implementing control systems, including PLC, SCADA, and HMI programming. Proven experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical control systems. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Good working knowledge of AS3000/AS3110 and other Australian Standards relevant to electrical engineering and controls Ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external clients on a technical and interpersonal level Seamless Onboarding Experience: Start strong with our centralised induction program at our Mulgrave (VIC) head office, designed to set you up for success.
