Responsibilities Warehouse Network Planning & Design Lead warehouse planning from concept to implementation, including site selection, capacity planning, racking layout, workflow design and space optimisation. Conduct site assessments covering location feasibility, zoning, access, layout, scalability and infrastructure readiness. Define warehouse positioning, size and function based on different business scenarios (e‑commerce, spare parts, FMCG, bonded, DG, etc.). Evaluate facility structure, fire systems, DG requirements, MHE selection and overall site readiness. Warehouse Sourcing & Project Setup Identify new warehouse opportunities and conduct site inspections. Coordinate with landlords, builders and internal teams for warehouse acquisition, fit‑out and onboarding. Manage warehouse project timelines, approvals, contractor coordination and go‑live readiness. Support tender preparation and vendor/landlord engagement during the acquisition process. Warehouse Operations & Standards Management Oversee daily warehouse operations to ensure accuracy, productivity, safety and service performance. Implement and optimise warehouse SOPs, inventory movement workflows, labour allocation and performance standards. Compliance, Safety & Risk Governance Lead warehouse compliance in WHS, DG, fire safety, audits and related certifications. Coordinate risk assessments, fire engineering reviews, DG notifications and insurer requirements (e.g. FM Global). Liaise with government agencies, landlords, auditors and insurers on warehouse‑related compliance matters. Monitor ongoing compliance across all sites and lead rectification planning where required. Internal Coordination & Continuous Improvement Work closely with operations, procurement, legal, risk and finance teams throughout the warehouse lifecycle. Provide planning reports, feasibility studies and risk summaries to support management decisions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives including automation, process optimisation and cost efficiency projects. Analyse operational data to identify risks, gaps and improvement opportunities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, Property, or related field. 3–5+ years’ experience in warehouse operations, warehouse planning, project setup, industrial property or compliance governance. Strong knowledge of warehouse layout planning, racking solutions, MHE, workflow design and facility infrastructure requirements. Solid understanding of WHS, DG, fire safety, building and warehouse compliance regulations. Proven project management capability with experience coordinating internal teams and external partners. Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills. Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to take full ownership of end‑to‑end warehouse projects. Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is MANDATORY. Preferred Experience in warehouse fit‑out, construction coordination or industrial real estate. Familiarity with DG compliance, FM Global requirements or fire engineering. Experience supporting multi‑site warehouse network expansion.
