Base pay range A$100,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from The Payroll Agency The Payroll Agency | Payroll Specialist Recruiter - The Payroll Agency is partnering with a reputable organisation looking for a Senior Payroll Officer to take full ownership of the end-to-end payroll process and play a key role in managing workers compensation and related compliance . In this role, you’ll be the go-to for all things payroll — from processing and reconciliations through to reporting, queries, and audits. You’ll also oversee workers compensation claims, return-to-work coordination, and maintain accurate records to ensure compliance with legislation. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end payroll process for a diverse employee base Prepare and lodge superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax Handle workers compensation claims and liaise with insurers Support return-to-work processes and maintain compliance documentation Provide timely, professional support to employees and stakeholders Assist with audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives About You: Proven experience in end-to-end payroll (ideally mid–large workforce) Sound understanding of workers compensation processes and legislation Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills A proactive, approachable team player who enjoys accountability In return you'll get: $110k + Super Wollongong based however, only required to be in office 1 x a week and very flexible Wonderful Manager and team This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable and supportive organisation that values expertise and trust.
