Job Description Oaks Gladstone Grand Hotel are looking for an experienced, motivated, and hands‑on Duty Manager to work across our bar and gaming areas on a casual basis. As a key member of the venue leadership team, you’ll ensure smooth daily operations, uphold service excellence, and are welcoming and engaging for all guests. Key Responsibilities Oversee bar, bistro, and gaming operations to ensure smooth service and compliance with regulations. Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences every shift. Manage cash handling, gaming reconciliation, and security procedures accurately. Address and resolve customer issues with professionalism and care. Ensure all RSA and gaming standards are adhered to at all times. Assist with rostering, stock control, and operational reporting as required. Shift Details Flexible rotating roster across Monday to Sunday AM and PM shifts available Holding a current RSA and RSG is a strong advantage Qualifications Proven leadership experience within a hospitality, pub, or gaming venue. Extensive background in the hospitality industry, ideally within a hotel or resort setting, with a thorough understanding of guest service standards and operations. Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to maintain a consistently positive and professional demeanor, even in high‑pressure situations. Strong time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and ensure timely completion of duties. Impeccable professional presentation, reflecting the high standards of the organisation. Flexibility to work weekends and adjust to varying schedules, as required by the operational needs of the business.
