About The Facility Our major sites include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged care facilities across the region. About The Role As a Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant (AHA) you will work within the Occupational Therapy team to deliver high quality administrative support and clinical care in the hand therapy stream. Responsibilities include: Actioning referrals and managing patient phone calls Scheduling appointments and maintaining records Ordering stock and general administrative duties Supervising AHA students and mentoring junior AHA staff Providing support to the wider Occupational Therapy Department as required Qualifications and experience Relevant qualifications that meet selection criteria Preferably experience working in a healthcare setting with patients Ability to work independently in a dynamic team The Culture The Occupational Therapy department is high-achieving, supportive and friendly.
