Restoration Technician/Labourer

Storm Restoration Services Pty Ltd – Brendale QLD We are expanding our team in Brendale, and Rocklea Queensland. We provide Restoration Services to our clients to assist them with insurance claims after events such as flood/water ingress, fire or mould damage to residential and/or commercial properties. We are looking for experienced technicians who can work independently and assist the team. We want individuals with prior experience, who can lead by example and add value to our company. We require individuals to enquire within to accommodate your needs and future. We are looking for someone to expand to the north, preferably closer to Sunshine Coast on that Northside. Able to run small teams, report back to senior staff, and work independently when required, leading by example and supporting others. About the role Storm Restoration is seeking to recruit professional, motivated and experienced Senior, Junior Technicians and labourers to join our young, innovative company. There are multiple roles available and will mainly deal with insurance building and restoration claims, both in residential and commercial settings. It is a hands‑on job, with no two days the same Often our clients are going through a stressful time, so friendliness, compassion, a willingness to help clients, and providing great customer service is essential. What We’re Looking For Experience in restoration (water/fire/mould) or a similar field. Strong time management and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multitask and work under pressure. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Skills and experience IICRC trained in Water Restoration preferred but not essential or equivalent. Demonstrate previous experience preferred but for the right candidate, willingness to learn; training will be provided. Able to assist with heavy lifting/possible confined spaces (with training), ladders, etc.—this is a hands‑on role Well presented and professional with a Can‑Do Attitude. Proficient in using Word, an iPad and laptop. Have sound communication skills and excellent customer service experience. High level of written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure/fast‑paced environment within a team and/or on your own. Available for rotating on‑call roster that includes weekends or possible after‑hours work. Able to prioritise and use initiative. Willingness to work in environments that have been affected by fire/water/mould/sewerage. Diligent and timely with reports. Must have a current police and working with children check and white card.
