Their expertise allows them to provide cost-effective and technically proven detailed design solutions.Role DescriptionThe company is currently hiring for a full-time Renewables Engineer role based in Melbourne, Victoria. This hybrid position allows for some work-from-home flexibility. The Renewables Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing renewable energy systems, primarily at the utility scale level, including solar, wind, and battery energy storage systems (BESS). They will gain an understanding of project requirements, perform detailed calculations, and collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines while maintaining required quality standards.QualificationsEngineering design skills, including the ability to design renewable energy systemsExperience in developing cost-effective and technically proven detailed design solutionsExperience in utility-scale projects involving photovoltaic (PV) systems, BESS, and wind energy (highly regarded)Familiarity with modeling software like PVSyst & Homer (highly regarded)Clean Energy Council accreditation for PV systems, off-grid systems, and BESS systems (highly regarded)Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word and ExcelBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldAbout the Ideal CandidateMust have full work rights in AustraliaMust be already based in Melbourne or willing to relocateStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesTeam player mindsetIf you are passionate about engineering and renewable energy, we encourage you to apply.
