Manager of Quality, Safety, Risk and Innovation Join to apply for the Manager of Quality, Safety, Risk and Innovation role at Corryong Health 3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Position Objective The Manager of Quality, Risk and Innovation provide strategic and operational leadership and management of quality, safety and patient experience systems to ensure care and services at Corryong Health are delivered in a manner that is Safe, Timely, Effective, Efficient, Equitable and Person-centered (STEEEP). The position is responsible for ensuring clinical governance frameworks, systems and processes are in place, contemporary, regularly monitored and improved as required. The Manager is responsible for overseeing and providing leadership for the Quality, Risk and Innovation Team. Essential Tertiary qualification in a clinical practice (Nursing, Midwifery or Allied Health). Comprehensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in leading the development of a just culture through a systems thinking and improvement science lens to ensure confidence in clinical governance systems and processes. Extensive contemporary knowledge and experience of quality and accreditation systems and risk management frameworks designed to achieve Safe, Timely, Effective, Efficient, Equitable and Patient-centered (STEEEP) healthcare. Demonstrated strategic and operational leadership skills in developing risk management frameworks and monitoring tools. Demonstrated ability to partner with consumers to ensure services a developed, improved and focused on co-design principles. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, consult, liaise and influence senior personnel in embedding STEEEP healthcare and risk management. Willingness to undertake annual vaccinations, drug and alcohol testing, fit testing and employment checks as required by Victorian law and Department of Health guidelines, Demonstrate a commitment to the (Victorian Public Sector) VPSC Code of Conduct, Equal Employment Opportunity, Work Health & Safety and Cultural Diversity principles. Desirable Post graduate qualifications in systems thinking, leadership, management, public health or other health related field.
