Manager, Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation – Brisbane QLD $147,769 - $156,144 a year Full time, Contract, Part time, Casual/Temporary The Contract and Investment Management team delivers quality systems and procedures to support effective grant fund management, working with program,project and engagement teams across the division and maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders. As Manager, you will lead a team to develop and deliver grant programs and investment initiatives, manage complex Financial Assistance Agreements and oversee grant recipient portfolios. You will provide strategic advice to senior executives, prepare high-quality reports and briefs, and work proactively to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment. You will communicate with influence, build strong stakeholder relationships, support collaboration across the division, and promote a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace. Knowledge and experience across a range of investment approaches such as competitive funding programs, one-off targeted funding, service level agreements, procurement, equity investment. Experience in creating a strong team culture and leading a team of individuals with varying skill sets, experience, and professional development needs. Ability to think strategically and make considered, ethical and courageous decisions based on insight into the broader innovation context, empowering collaborative decision making in the team. Gather insights and embrace new ideas and innovation to inform future practice, challenging the status quo and seeking out new models and developments that may inform the team's approach. Build and sustain relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes, setting up connections to drive collaboration.
