Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation Wildlife & Threatened Species Operations; Management & Operations; Queensland Parks and Wildlife Services & Partnerships; Brisbane CBD Do you have experience in developing policy and procedures? Are you interested in supporting the visitor use of National Parks? This role will play a key part in establishing a strong governance framework for visitor services, consolidating multiple regional visitor management policies into cohesive state-wide documents, and researching visitor metrics and visitation reporting frameworks. A core responsibility will be supporting the development of a 5-year visitor strategy that aligns with the department's Strategic Plan and builds on current state challenges and opportunities across the six operational QPWS&P Regions. This position will support the Principal Project Officer in the development and delivery of the Visitor Services Program, including the creation of state-wide policies and procedures to enhance visitor management across Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service & Partnerships (QPWS&P). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
